In Pladia Empower, operators have the power to design engaging and finely tailored user journeys known as Curated Experiences. By enhancing Spaces and Objects with additional content such as Audio, Images, and rich text through Content Blocks, you can create interactive and tailored experiences. Once this content is set up, our tagging system allows you to seamlessly connect related Objects, enabling visitors to explore your museum in ways that resonate with their interests.

Here’s an example of how Curated Experiences can be utilized: A local art museum aims to enhance the visitor experience for young visitors by creating a specialized user journey tailored for children. In this scenario, a Console operator could establish a Tag named "Kids Only" and associate it with Objects in Pladia that appeal to children. By configuring the mobile application accordingly, museum guests will have the option to easily navigate to exhibits that cater specifically to children's interests.

In this section, we will also explore the Console's Tag Manager. This dedicated section focuses on Tags, which play a crucial role in shaping the visitor experience within our mobile application.

Similar to utilizing other features in the Console, it is essential to publish all related Objects within a Curated Experience to ensure visibility to end users through Tags. Before publishing, it is necessary to put your Objects On Display. This guide will walk you through a detailed, step-by-step process of constructing a Curated Experience, providing you with valuable tips and insights to enhance your journey.

Steps to Building Curated Experiences in the Pladia Console

Broken down into three parts - Reviewing Objects, Tag Manager, and App Settings

Reviewing Objects

  1. Review the Objects within your Console by selecting Objects from the left navigation.

  1. Click the three dots to the right of the Object you want to review, then select Edit Object.

  1. Scroll down to the Tags section. All Tags currently added to the Object will be visible.

  1. To add more Tags, select Add Tag and begin typing the Tag you wish to apply.

    1. If the Tag already exists, it will appear in the list below the typing field.

    2. If the Tag does NOT already exist, you can create the Tag from this section.

  2. To update your Audio, scroll down to the Audio section and select Audio from the drop-down.

  3. Select the plus sign (+) next to No Audio to select or upload audio.

    1. You can drop a new file or search your computer to upload Audio.

    2. Once finished, click Select to complete your Audio upload.

  4. If there is Audio already in place, you can update it by clicking the three dots to the right of the entry, then select Edit Linked Audio.

  5. Once you are satisfied with your Object Detail entries, select Save Draft Changes.

  6. To review the Content attached to the Object, select the Content tab for the Object.

  1. You can add Text, an Image, or a Button for the Object from here. To begin, click on the + sign to reveal the options. Click here for additional details on how to best utilize Content Blocks.

  2. Once you are satisfied with your Content entries, select Save Draft Changes in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

To note: you will still need to put your Objects On Display before publishing within the application.

Tag Manager

  1. To access the Tag Manager, select the Tag Manager option in the left navigation.

  1. From here, you can create new Tags, delete existing Tags, and edit existing Tags.

  2. To create a new Tag, click Create Tag at the bottom of any Tag List (this includes the Ungrouped list)

  3. Begin typing your Tag name, then hit Enter on your computer to save the new Tag.

  1. To delete an existing Tag, click the X to the right of the Tag you wish to get rid of.

    1. Reconfirm that you wish to delete the Tag. Once confirmed, the Tag will be deleted and you will be returned to the Tag Manager landing page.

  1. To edit an existing Tag, click on the Tag you wish to update.

    1. Update the Tag name, add a photo, and add a description.

Featured Tags

  1. Under App Settings in the Console, you can designate Featured Tags.

    1. When a Tag is marked as Featured in Pladia, it will be prominently displayed on your PWA landing page.

    2. This allows visitors to easily select a Curated Experience, which consists of Objects also using the same Feature Tag.

      1. To note: Your visitors will be able to navigate to similar Objects using any Tag, not just Featured Tags, but featured Tags are visible on your PWA landing page.

  2. To begin this process, select App Settings in the left navigation.

  3. Click on the Configured Application you would like to add Featured Tags to.

  4. On the Featured Tags tab, select Add Tag to begin this process.

  5. Once you have finished adding Featured Tags (you are allowed up to 6), select Done or Add draft changes in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Don’t forget: Curated Experiences won’t be visible to your end users until all attributes have been Put on Display, Published, and the application has been configured.

Congratulations! You have successfully added a Curated Experience to the Console. Please feel free to reach out to Customer Success if you have further questions.
