In the Pladia Console, Buildings play a crucial role, particularly for indoor experiences. For outdoor experiences, there is no requirement to create Buildings. Depending on your institution's layout, a Venue can consist of multiple Buildings or a single Building.
If you are utilizing an IMDF file for setup, there is no need to manually create Buildings in the platform. You can proceed directly to setting up your Space and Object content to progress with your setup process.
Steps to Create Buildings in the Pladia Console
Select Venues from the left navigation in the Console.
Select the three dots within the Venue Setup list to access the context menu.
Add your Building Name and Building Address on the right-hand side of the screen.
Reposition your Building Marker only if it is improperly placed.
Once finished with adding your Building information, select Save New.
Repeat this process until you have created all Buildings within a particular Venue.
To put a Building on display, select Put On Display.
To note: You will still need to publish your Building to make it visible to your end users.
To edit a Building, click the Building you wish to edit, then execute all changes within the text box on the right of your screen.
To delete a Building, click the three dots to the right of your Building text box, and select Delete.
