Overview
Objects represent the items on display in your collection. You can add and manage these directly through the Console, and if you have a large collection, our Customer Success team can assist with bulk import options.
To help visitors explore your collection, you can use Tags to assign Objects to specific Themes within the PWA.
if Object doesn't fit your organization’s terminology, you can change this label to Items within your Console settings. Get in touch with our CS team about other options.
Create a New Object
Navigate to Objects.
Select the Create Object button.
Enter the Object Name, Subtitle, Media/Materials, and relevant Dates.
Add the Wall ID. This is a visitor-facing field that allows guests to search for the item in the PWA or reference a physical label number in your Venue.
Optional: The Internal ID field is for any ID's associated with the Object in your other systems of record (like a Collection Management System). This field is only visible in the Console and will not be seen by visitors.
Add a Hero Image by clicking the plus sign (+) shown.
Optional: Choose your image ratio by selecting Cropped (fills the frame) or Un-cropped. Note that this only applies to the Hero Image.
