Position and Place Your Objects

Define the location of your Objects within your Venue using either positioned map pins or Space association.

Written by Anna Nicholson

Overview

When defining the location of your Objects, you have two options: you can position the map pin in the exact physical location where the Object is located (Positioned), or you can assign the Object to a Space without indicating its physical location (Un-Positioned).

Place an Object (Positioned)

  1. Navigate to the Location section for the Object to define its location within your Venue.

  2. Once you have clicked Set Location, use the drop-down menu on the upper left-hand side of your screen to select the Venue/Building.

  3. In the upper right-hand side, you can optionally select a Space to associate the Object to.

  4. Click on the map to Add Position by dropping a pin.

Place an Object (Unpositioned)

  1. Repeat steps 1-3 above

  2. If you do not drop a pin on the map to position the Object, it will remain Unpositioned.

Edit Object Placement

  1. To edit the position of an Object, return to the Object's Location section and click on the map.

  2. To change the Level: select the correct Level from the level selector in the top-left corner of the floor plan. You must reposition the pin for this change to be recognized.

  3. To change the position of a positioned Object: drag and drop the pin to a new position.

  4. To change the Space the Object is attached to: click the three dots context menu and select Change Space to select from your list or create a new Space.
