Overview
Content Blocks are a versatile feature that unlock rich content options for you as a content editor. You can customize text, images, buttons, and videos to enhance visitor engagement and provide a richer, more memorable experience. Content Blocks work identically across all content items in the Console, including Objects, Spaces, and Points of Interest (POIs).
Content Blocks
You can add Text, an Image, a Button, a Video, or any combination of these. There are no limits to the number or order of blocks you can add.
Navigate to the content item you wish to edit (e.g., an Object, Space, or POI).
βSelect the Content tab.
βClick on the plus (+) sign to reveal the content options.
βSelect the type of content block you wish to add (Text, Image, Button, or Video).
Adding a Text Block
Select the Text option.
βBegin typing in the text block on the right-hand side of the screen.
βThe text block includes rich-text options, such as multiple heading styles, bold, italics, subscript, and superscript.
βRecommendation: Use engaging and descriptive language. Use formatting options like bold or italic to highlight key points.
Adding an Image Block
Select the Image option.
βClick Add Image.
βSelect an already uploaded image, drag and drop a file from your computer, or use the "Choose a file" option.
βOnce an image is selected, click Select to add it to the content block.
βSet the image display ratio to the left of the content block (None, Cropped to fill 4:3 frame, or Image fits frame/uncropped).
βAdding Multiple Images: To create a scrollable (swipeable) image carousel, click Add Image again under the first image to include additional images in the same block.
Adding a Button Block
Select the Button option.
βAdd the URL you wish to link to, using the field to the left of the content block.
βUse the fields to include a title, body text, and button text.
Optionally, add an image to the Button Block by clicking on the image module.
βThe button block display will adapt to accommodate portrait and landscape images. When a landscape image is used, the PWA displays the button block with a stacked layout and if a portrait image is used then the PWA displays a 2 column layout.
Adding a Video Block
Select the Video option.
βAdd the URL of the Vimeo video you wish to link to in the field to the left of the content block.
βOptionally, add a caption to the video.
We currently only support Vimeo for video content in the PWA.
Manage and Edit Blocks
To edit a text block, click on the block and begin editing the text as needed.
βTo change the order of the content blocks, click on the content block you would like to move and then use the up and down arrows to move it to the desired place.
βTo Hide a content block (making it temporarily invisible to visitors), click on the Eye with a line Icon.
βTo delete a content block, click on the specific block, then select the Trashcan Icon.
βOnce you're happy with your changes, select Save.
