Overview
The Analytics tab in the Console provides a comprehensive overview of how visitors interact with your content and media across your Venue. However, for more granular performance metrics, navigate to each content type's own dedicated analytics page. Analyzing these granular metrics helps you evaluate what resonates most with your audience and how visitors are discovering your content.
Each Analytics view can be filtered by Date range with the default set to Last 7 days, Venue, Building, Level, and Space.
Understanding Content Analytics Metrics
For granular metrics on specific content, navigate to the relevant tab in the Console (Objects, Spaces, Tours, Themes, Attributions, Events, POI). Here, you can track key performance indicators to assess engagement:
Total Views: The overall number of times a specific content type has been opened or accessed by visitors.
Total Unique Users: The number of individual visitors engaging with the content, giving you a clear picture of true audience reach.
Views by Name: A detailed ranking of individual items within a content type, highlighting your most popular items.
Page Views by Source: The pathways visitors take to discover your content (such as QR code scans, direct search, or map interactions).
Views by Source
This metric highlights how visitors navigate to each content item, showing which entry points drive the most engagement. It is a count of the screen directly before the visitor accessed the content.
How it's useful: This metric helps Pladia customers understand how their visitors prefer to access content. If the majority of views come from Scans, you might focus on ensuring that QR codes are placed prominently throughout the venue. If Searches are frequently utilized, this may indicate a need for keyword-rich tagging. By identifying these trends, customers can gain insights into visitor behavior and engagement patterns, ultimately guiding decisions for enhancing accessibility and interaction with Spaces.
Below is a guide to common sources, though available options vary by content type:
Scan: When a visitor uses a QR code or NFC tag to access an item.
Search: When a visitor uses the search function to access an item.
Direct: When the content page is accessed directly after onboarding. This indicates the visitor had the URL for the page itself and accessed that to access the PWA.
Home: When a visitor accesses an item directly from the home page of the app.
Landing Map: When a visitor accesses a Space, Event or POI from the landing map.
Space: When an object is accessed by selecting in on a space page.
Tag: When a visitor views an item by selecting it from a tag page.
Nearby Object List: When an object is accessed from the "Nearby" list of objects.
Space List: When a visitor accesses a Space from the Spaces list.
Tour Map: When a visitor exits the Tour Map, returning to the Tour Details page.
Other: Includes any views not fitting the above categories such as viewing an Object, clicking into MyVisit, and then hitting back and viewing the Object a second time.
