Overview

Tours in Empower offer a seamless way to guide visitors through your unique narratives, whether they are exploring a gallery or wandering your grounds. The visitor journey is intuitive and flexible, combining interactive maps, rich media, and accessible audio. This ensures every visitor can engage with your curated content in a way that suits them best. You maintain control to tell your story your way while empowering visitors to explore with confidence.

Feature Benefits

Tours guide your visitor through your stories and your venue.

  • Streamlined Discovery: Showcase your best tours directly on the Empower landing page carousel, allowing visitors to instantly find and launch your top experiences.

  • Intuitive Navigation: With integrated maps and a new Get Directions button for every stop, visitors can easily access step-by-step guidance to navigate multi-level spaces or outdoor grounds.

  • Accessible Storytelling: Bring stories to life with audio at each stop. With Audio Access+, visitors can choose how they listen - via headphones, phone-to-ear, or by reading a transcript.

  • Deeper Engagement: The experience supports Deep Linking, allowing visitors to click through from specific tour stops to related Objects and Spaces for a deeper dive into your collection.

How It Works

Visitors follow these simple steps to navigate with Tours:

  1. From the Empower landing page, visitors tap a featured tour to enter the Tour Details view. Here, they are presented with a numbered map and a clear Stop List, giving them a structured overview so they can plan their route at a glance.

  2. Visitors select a stop and click the Get Directions arrow to integrate with Pathways (If setup). Once at the location, they can listen to the tour audio and plan their next path.

  3. While at a stop, visitors can go beyond the basic description. By clicking linked Objects and Spaces, they can transition from the guided tour into detailed views, encouraging self-directed discovery before returning to the tour path.
