We recognize the importance for Console operators to review their work from an end-user perspective before making it live for visitor use. In Pladia, we offer the functionality for operators to Publish a Preview bundle before making it accessible in the visitor application.

This article will explore the process of publishing a Preview bundle before publishing a Public bundle. The preview URL supplied by our team is meant for internal testing and initial review only, and should not be shared with outside contacts and resources.

It's also crucial to note that all content must be 'Put On Display' before it can be Published as a Preview or Public bundle.

Steps to Publish a Preview Bundle in Pladia

  1. After making any changes to your content or configuration in the Console (i.e. any attribute you’ve edited or altered), you will receive a prompt to Save Changes.

  2. Save New or Save Changes will generate a Draft.

    1. To keep the changes in the draft, select Done or Back to Previous.

    2. Any content left in Draft will be visible in the Preview bundle if you select Include New & Draft when publishing.

  3. Once you have put all desired attributes On Display, select Publish in the left navigation.

  4. Under the Preview section, you will see a list of items that have changed their display state.

    1. This list includes changes made by any user, not just changes made by yourself during the current working session.

  5. Check the box to Include New & Draft changes if you wish to preview draft changes alongside any new attributes created during the current session.

    1. If you prefer to see only items that are On-Display or Going On-Display, leave the box unchecked.

  6. Before selecting Publish, you have the opportunity to add any Publish Notes.

    1. Use this text field to include details such as your initials, a date stamp, or a summary of the changes made in this particular publishing run.

  7. Click on Publish Preview Bundle to proceed.

  8. Once you have published the bundle, you can view your publish in the Publish History panel on the right side.

    1. This panel records all previous publishes for easy reference.

If you need help accessing the preview version of the application contact your Pladia Customer Success Manager.

Congratulations! You have successfully Published a Preview bundle to the app, for only your team to review before making it Public. Please feel free to reach out to Customer Success if you have further questions.
