Release Version: 25.7.0
Release Date: July 10th, 2025
What’s New:
Tagged Objects on a Map (Feature Spotlight)
You can now display all tagged objects on a map within Empower—offering visitors a clear, interactive view of related content across your venue.
This new feature lives on the tag detail page and is a big step toward enabling lightweight self-guided tours using Empower’s existing tagging system. It also allows your team to experiment with journey-based storytelling before committing to structured linear tours.
Explore by theme: Visitors can see all objects connected to a tag—like "Highlights," "Women Artists," or "Nature"—mapped in one view.
Supports self-guided flow: Great for creating audio-enhanced trails or thematic experiences without adding extra infrastructure.
Builds toward tour support: This update is part of our broader strategy to enable flexible, visitor-driven journeys through Empower.

Map Clustering
We’ve introduced clustering for pins—grouping nearby objects, POIs, and Spaces to keep maps clean and easy to navigate.
Less clutter, more clarity: Helps visitors understand dense areas at a glance.
Zoom to explore: Clusters separate into individual pins as users zoom in.
Colored dots indicate a group of nearby Objects or Spaces on the map.
As you pinch to zoom, individual pins are revealed for more detailed exploration.
Map Labels + Outdoor Levels
Objects, POIs, Spaces, and now Buildings can all display labels directly on the map.
Improves orientation: Makes it easier for visitors to connect the map with real-world locations.
Supports outdoor navigation: Especially helpful in multi-building or large-scale venues.
Zoom-aware labels: Labels show or hide depending on zoom level for optimal clarity.
Buildings now appear as labeled, selectable elements on outdoor maps.
World Map & Building View
We’re adding a stylized world map option for the outdoor level of your venue. This allows buildings and other Spaces to be displayed clearly and consistently without needing a custom-drawn outdoor map.
Ideal for large or multi-site venues: Like campuses, precincts, or outdoor exhibitions.
Optional world map view: Use our stylized version instead of uploading a custom outdoor asset.
Buildings as pins: Buildings are now tappable on the outdoor level, just like Spaces.
Note: If you would like assistance adding an Outdoor map to your Pladia set up please reach out to the Pladia Customer Success team.
