Pladia offers the flexibility to add Images during the Object creation process, but some operators may prefer to upload Images separately. If Images are uploaded before adding the associated Object, they will be readily available in the list of Images during Object creation. Steps to add your Images to the Pladia Console
Select Images from the left navigation in the Console.
Search for an existing Image file using the left-side search bar, or select Drop a new file or Choose a File.
Drop the Image file into the outlined action bar at the top of the screen.
Select Choose a File from the same outlined action bar to search for a file on your computer.
To note - here are the required specifications:
File type: JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png)
Min. dimensions: 150ppi
Max size recommendation: 1500px
Set default image display ratio in the Console:
Cropped to fill 4:3 frame
Fits 1:1 frame (uncropped)
The Pladia Console screen reflect your uploading the image.
The new Image will be listed alongside all other previously uploaded Images.
To edit your Image details, click the three dots to the right of the Image file and select Edit Image.
You can alter the Image Name, Alt Text, and External ID (the ID for the Image associated within other systems of record).
Once you are satisfied with the results, select Save Draft Changes in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Put On Display to make the Image ready for publishing.
To note: You will still need to publish your Image to make it visible to your end users.
Repeat this process until you have added all Image files used within a particular Venue (unless you are adding an Image file post-initial setup).
To note: Each Image file will have an Appearances tab.
This tab will show you any configurations where the Image is currently being used (i.e. an Object, etc).
