Open the Outdoor View on your PWA
To view the outdoor map from the Map tab, visitors can:
Use the level selector dropdown and select the Outdoor View or
Click the world map icon that shows as a shortcut from other indoor maps in the top-right corner
Select the Outdoor View from the level selector on the Map tab
Click the world map icon to open the Outdoor View
Enable outdoor positioning
Once on the Outdoor map, visitors can activate the blue dot by clicking the blue position arrow in the top-right corner. They will be prompted to enable location access on their device. Once their position is enabled it will show as a blue dot on the map.
Once on the Outdoor map, visitors can activate the blue dot by clicking the blue position arrow in the top-right corner. They will be prompted to enable location access on their device. Once their position is enabled it will show as a blue dot on the map.
Note: the ring around the blue dot indicates position accuracy. If visitors move inside a building from the Outdoor View, the blue dot will still show with an increased radius indicating lower accuracy.

Buildings in Outdoor View
Visitors can use the Outdoor View to see the buildings of your venue and, if enabled, their own position.
Select a building configured on the map to see more detail about it, with an option to Open in Maps. This will open location in their device’s default map app, using the address entered in the Console.
If the visitor’s position is near a Building in your venue, they will see a prompt to ‘Enter’ the Building, transitioning to an indoor map.
