You can easily translate your custom content—text fields, content blocks, and audio files—right inside the Pladia Console. The PWA's main interface is already available in 14 languages, but you'll need to provide the translations for your unique content yourself.
Note: Additional language support must be enabled by the Pladia CS team before the options appear in the Console, and the Empower PWA.
Translate Text Fields
Click the translation icon next to any text field in the Console.
A dialog box will open showing your enabled languages. Enter your translated text in each field.
Click Done to save your changes.
Translate Content Blocks
This applies to Content Blocks found throughout the Console.
Navigate to the content tab on an Object, Space, or Points of Interest.
For Text Blocks: Select your text Content Block. Use the language selector dropdown on the left to open side-by-side text boxes. Enter the translated text in making sure formatting matches across languages. You can only provide content block translations for 1 language at a time.
For Images and Video: Select your image or video content block. Use the language selector dropdown on the left to open side-by-side views. Update and save the image or video caption translations (you cannot replace the image/video file itself per language).
Select Save.
Translate Audio Files and Transcripts
Navigate to your Audio Library. Upload your first audio file to create an audio library entry.
Click the audio entry and navigate to the Files tab. Upload translated audio files here, keeping them connected within the same entry.
Use Language Codes: When uploading translated audio, include the language code at the end of the filename for automatic recognition (e.g.,
FILENAME-es.mp3for Spanish). Alternatively if you upload a file without a language code, a dialog box will appear. Select the language from the dropdown and click Upload.Translate Transcripts: Open the Audio Library entry and navigate to the Transcript tab. Use the language selector dropdown to enter the translated text.
