Overview

Display your Venue's floor plans directly to visitors by adding maps to the Pladia Console. These maps are incredibly helpful for navigation, allowing visitors to easily search for and find your Spaces, Objects, and Points of Interest on an interactive map.

While using visitor-facing maps is optional, it’s encouraged. It gives visitors vital context about the spatial placement of your content, making it much easier for them to find their way around. The map can also help you configure the borders for your Spaces, and if you're using maps, you can also unlock Pathwaysβ€”our step-by-step navigation feature.

Tip: The Empower PWA features a modular design that ensures all your Space and Object Content remains visible, even if you choose to skip the map.

Map File Requirements

For a seamless visitor experience and optimal PWA performance, please use these specifications for your map files:

File Type

A transparent map file is recommended.

Preferably PNG, or SVG (for transparency) but a JPEG is also acceptable

Resolution

Ideally 8 megapixels or lower (e.g., 3000x3000 pixels)

To avoid performance issues, make sure files are smaller than 16MB

Text & Labels

Avoid including text labels on the map files.

POI's, Objects, and Levels will be automatically overlaid on the map.
