Overview
This release introduces a central Settings interface for self-serve configuration and upgrades the Images and Audio asset pickers.
What’s New
Settings Update
All configuration options have been moved into a single Settings tab. You will only see the Settings relevant to your feature set. Settings are organized into sub-sections, each with their own form:
Homescreen
Content
Languages
Theme
Wayfinding
Paid Tours
General
Homescreen
Configure your PWA Home screen including logos, subtitle, feature flags, intro text (previously Introduction), welcome overlay (previously Onboarding) and featured content.
Content
Configure your Console and PWA terminology and Object / Attribution properties. These settings have been migrated directly from the old Settings modal, which was accessed via the menu in the bottom left of the Console.
Languages
Select which languages to support in your PWA. This will enable fields in the Console for you to enter translated content.
Theme
Configure your accent color and preview its appearance after the accessibility filter has been applied. Set your PWA to light or dark mode, or to dynamic to follow visitor device settings. Set your default image ratio to determine how the PWA treats image cropping on Objects, Tags and Attributions.
Wayfinding
Select the visitor-facing Mapset, Pathway and Landing Level for your Venue.
Paid Tours
Connect your Stripe API key, if enabled.
General
Set your App title and description. These fields control the text in the browser tab, link previews, and by screen readers and other assistive technologies. You can also set your timezone here to accurately represent your Analytics.
Your Settings, including the Homescreen content sections, do not need to go through a Release to publish. Save each form after making changes.
These updates are generally immediate, though Languages and Theme edits may take a few minutes for your changes to be visible.
Upgraded Asset Pickers
The Images and Audio asset pickers have been redesigned to improve media navigation and inline metadata updates.
Inline Editing: Selecting an asset opens a preview and edit panel to update metadata directly.
Images: Edit name, alt text, and External ID.
Audio: Edit name and transcript.
Accessibility Indicators: An ALT badge displays on image thumbnails in grid view (or below the name in list view). Audio list view indicates if a transcript is saved.
