Overview
The Event Sync PWA is a frictionless digital touchpoint that delivers frame-accurate audio to visitors' headphones, synchronized perfectly with large-scale visuals like drone shows or projections. By removing the barrier of app store downloads, events can achieve high uptake and provide a deeply personal connection to the story behind the spectacle.
The User Experience
🏠 Landing Screen
The landing screen is designed for frictionless uptake on both iOS and Android. Since no app download is required, visitors can jump straight into the experience.
Customize to your event
Upload your own event logo, sponsor logos, and background image to reflect your brand identity and build immediate trust as the visitor prepares to sync their device.
You can customize the Description and the Inactive Message to show on this screen.
Call To Action
While your event is in Inactive Mode, visitors will see PLEASE WAIT.
When your event is switched to Active Mode, visitors will see a START LISTENING button.
Audio download
Audio content will begin downloading as soon as the PWA loads, including while an event is inactive. This allows visitors to cache audio before show time, reducing peak-time network load and improving reliability at large-scale events where connectivity may be constrained.
🎵 Listening Screen
This is the heart of the experience, providing high-fidelity audio with lip-sync precision. The interface is optimized to be clean and intuitive, allowing the audience to focus on the visual display while the PWA handles the frame-accurate playback.
Once users enter this page, they can click to Play. They can then click to mute/unmute the audio at any time.
ℹ️ Information Modal
The information modal is the ideal space to credit artists, provide curators' insights, or share specific details about the event. It allows you to offer a "deep dive" into the artwork or performance without cluttering the main playback screen.
If no transcript is configured, the Information button will not show to users.
🗒️Transcript
To support inclusive design we recommend including a transcript if you have narrative audio. This feature ensures that all visitors can fully engage with the narrative being delivered.
