In this high-level overview of the Empower Analytics Dashboard, you will discover key metrics to track visitor engagement across your PWA.

The Empower Analytics Dashboard provides valuable insights into how visitors interact with your app, helping enhance their overall experience. From tag views to object interactions, the dashboard offers detailed metrics that can inform content strategy and visitor engagement. The data is currently refreshed at a minimum twice a day, ensuring operators have up-to-date information to make informed decisions.

The dashboard is organized into five key sections:

  • Overview

  • Objects

  • Spaces

  • Enriched Points of Interest (POIs)

  • Tags

Each tab contains metrics that illuminate visitor engagement, enabling you to understand app performance and user behavior more effectively.

This page offers a high-level overview of the dashboard, summarizing each available metric. For a detailed breakdown of the metrics, including definitions, context, examples, and how they inform decision-making, explore the comprehensive articles for each of the tabs linked below.


This tab gives key metrics on app engagement, with the option to drill down further from other tabs.


Filtering Options

You can filter this data by:

  • Date range - Default: Last 7 days

Metrics Available

  • Total Sessions: Number of sessions within the selected date range.

    • A session groups user interactions by device, and restarts after 30 minutes of inactivity.

  • Estimated Unique Users: A rough count of individual visitors using the app.

  • Daily Session Engagement: Breakdown of session activity:

    • Engaged Session: Two or more page views in a session.

    • Session: All other sessions.

  • Average Engaged Session Duration: Average time an engaged session lasts.

  • Device Category: Breakdown of devices (e.g., iOS, Android) used to access the PWA.

  • Device Language: Languages set as visitors’ default device language.

  • External Links Selected: Number of clicks per external link.

  • Location Map Views: Number of map views, categorized by source (Objects, Spaces, POIs).

  • Total Page Views: Overall metrics for views of Objects, Spaces, Tags, and POIs, with deeper analysis available in their respective tabs.


The objects tab provides detailed metrics on Object interactions, showing information about the most/least popular Objects, how visitors access them, and what they search for in the PWA/Venue.


Filtering Options

You can filter this data by:

  • Date range - Default: Last 7 days

  • Venue

  • Building

  • Level

  • Space

Metrics Available

  • Total Object Views: The total number of times an object detail page was viewed, including repeated views by the same user.

  • Total Estimated Unique Users: The estimated number of unique visitors who viewed objects.

  • Daily Object Views: A line chart showing the number of object views per day to help identify daily trends in visitor engagement.

  • Object Views by Source: A breakdown of how visitors accessed objects.

  • Object Views by Name: A ranked breakdown showing object popularity based on total and unique views, as well as how visitors accessed each object.

  • Object Media Played: A ranked breakdown of the number of plays for object media, along with media type and average completion rate.

  • Objects Saved to My Visit: A breakdown of the most popular objects visitors saved to their "My Visit" list, indicating deeper engagement.

  • Object Location Map Views: A breakdown showing how many times visitors used the map to find an object's location, broken down by object name.


The Spaces tab provides detailed metrics on Space interactions, showing information about the most/least popular Spaces, how visitors access them, and what they search for in the PWA/Venue.

  • Building

  • Level

  • Total Space Views: The total number of times a Space detail page was viewed, including repeated views by the same user.

  • Total Estimated Unique Users: The estimated number of unique visitors who viewed Spaces.

  • Daily Space Views: A line chart showing the number of Space views per day to help identify daily trends in visitor engagement.

  • Space Views by Source: A breakdown of how visitors accessed Spaces.

  • Space Views by Name: A ranked breakdown showing Space popularity based on total and unique views, as well as how visitors accessed each Space.

  • Space Media Played: A ranked breakdown of the number of plays for Space media, along with media type and average completion rate.

  • Space Location Map Views: A breakdown showing how many times visitors used the map to find a Space's location, broken down by Space name.


The Enriched POIs tab provides detailed metrics on Enriched POI interactions, showing information about the most/least popular Enriched POIs, how visitors access them, and what they search for in the PWA/Venue.

  • Date range - Default: Last 7 days

  • Venue

  • Building

  • Level

  • Total Enriched POI Views: The total number of times an Enriched POI detail page was viewed, including repeated views by the same user.

  • Total Estimated Unique Users: The estimated number of unique visitors who viewed Enriched POIs.

  • Daily Enriched POI Views: A line chart showing the number of Enriched POI views per day to help identify daily trends in visitor engagement.

  • Enriched POI Views by Source: A breakdown of how visitors accessed Enriched POIs.

  • Enriched POI Views by Name: A ranked breakdown showing Enriched POI popularity based on total and unique views, as well as how visitors accessed each Enriched POI.

  • Enriched POI Location Map Views: A breakdown showing how many times visitors used the map to find a Enriched POI's location, broken down by Enriched POI name.


The Tag Detail Screens tab provides detailed metrics on Tag Detail Screen interactions, showing information about the most/least popular Tag Detail Screens, how visitors access them, and what they search for in the PWA/Venue.

You can filter this data by:

  • Date range - Default: Last 7 days

Metrics Available

  • Total Tag Views: The total number of times a Tag Detail Screen detail page was viewed, including repeated views by the same user.

  • Total Estimated Unique Users: The estimated number of unique visitors who viewed Tags.

  • Most Viewed Tags (Top Ten): A chart that showcases the ten most popular tag detail pages for the selected date range.

  • Tag Views by Source: A breakdown of how visitors accessed Tag Detail Screens.

  • Tag Views by Name: A ranked breakdown showing Tag Detail Screen popularity based on total and unique views, as well as how visitors accessed each Tag Detail Screen.
