Overview
In the Pladia Console, each Object can be linked to a Creator in your collection. You can add Creators directly while creating an Object; however, many users prefer to add all their Creators beforehand for a smoother setup experience. You can link one creator to multiple Objects.
Tip: In the Empower PWA, Creators are currently displayed just below the object description. We have new features on the roadmap to expand the way you can leverage Creators in the future!
Create a New Creator
Navigate to Creators from the left navigation in the Console.
βSelect Create Creator on the right-hand side of the screen.
βAdd your Creator Name, Dates, and External ID (the ID associated with the Creator in your other systems of record).
βCreator hero images don't appear anywhere in the Empower PWA.
βOnce completed, select Save New.
βThis Creator is saved and ready to be attached to an Object.
Manage and Edit Creators
To edit a Creator, click the Creator's name in the list.
βOnce you have finished editing, select Save.
Tip: After adding your Objects to the Console and associating them with Creators, you can easily view a list of all associated Objects under the Creator β Appearances tab.
Delete a Creator
Deleting an unwanted Creator will remove the record from the Console. It will also remove any attachment it has to your Objects in the Empower PWA.
Navigate to Creators from the left navigation in the Console, and click the context menu (three dots) next to an item.
βSelect Delete to remove it from the Console.
βYou can also use the context menu from the creator detail page to select Delete.
Confirm Your Changes
After you've added or edited your Creators, complete the release process to make the content visible to visitors. Creators are automatically ready to be included in the public release as soon as you save them.
Release to Public from the Releases page in the Console.
Note: If you delete a Creator, any linked Objects will appear on the Releases page, letting you know the associated content must be released before the change is visible in the PWA.
