The Extend tab in your Console Analytics provides a data-driven window into your visitor experience and Digital Labels. By monitoring these metrics, you can identify which objects capture the most attention and how effectively your digital labels are storytelling.

Note: The Extend tab is now visible in Console Analytics for all Pladia Empower customers. To enable Extend Digital Labels for your organization, please reach out to your Pladia Customer Success Manager.

Strategic Insights

Understanding your data allows you to refine your content strategy and optimize hardware placement. Consider the following best practices:

  • Monitor Engagement Trends: Use Daily session engagement to identify peak visiting hours or days.

  • Evaluate Content Depth: Compare Object views against Object media played. If views are high but media play rates are low, consider shortening your audio clips or using more compelling descriptions/CTAs.

  • Optimize Language Support: Review Translations selected to determine which languages are most in demand. This data justifies further translations for specific demographics.

  • Assess Hardware Performance: Use Device use by Name to see if specific kiosks or displays are underperforming, which may indicate a need for better physical signage or a more prominent location within the Venue.

Available Metrics

The Analytics tab tracks several key performance indicators to help you measure success:

  • Total sessions: The gross number of times your Digital Labels were accessed.

  • Average session duration: How long, on average, a visitor spends interacting with your Digital Label(s)

  • Daily session engagement: A longitudinal view of visitor activity over time.

  • Translations selected: A breakdown of which available languages visitors are choosing.

  • Device use by Name: A breakdown of each device's session count, average session duration, and page views.

  • Object views: The total number of times specific object records were opened.

  • Object media played: Tracks visitor engagement with audio or video content and the average duration played.
