Overview

These modules allow you to customize the PWA interface to support visitor engagement and organizational needs (like fundraising and acknowledgment). All settings are configured per-application in the App Settings screen.

Onboarding

The Onboarding screen allows you to create a personalized message for visitors the first time they open your Empower PWA. This is our recommended spot for acknowledgments (like Acknowledgement of Country).

  1. Navigate to App Settings > Onboarding tab.

  2. Customize your message. You can upload logos here as well as text.

  3. Once completed, select Save.

Introduction

The Introduction module displays at the top of the Home screen of your PWA, letting you add a welcome message right under your logo.

  1. Navigate to App Settings > Introduction tab.

  2. Customize your message.

  3. Once completed, select Save.

Tip: Your onboarding and welcome messaging won’t be visible until the settings have been Published and Released.

Sponsors

The Sponsorship module displays at the bottom of the Home screen of your PWA, ensuring it doesn't disrupt the visitor journey.

  1. Navigate to App Settings > Sponsors tab.

  2. Click the plus (+) sign to reveal content options. You can add Text and/or Logos.

  3. Logos in Dark Mode: If your PWA is set to Dark mode, logo images will automatically invert colors.

  4. We recommend using black or monochrome logos in a transparent PNG file for best results across both Light and Dark modes.

  5. Once completed, select Save.

Donations

The Donations module displays on the Home screen of your PWA and is a flexible button block.

  1. Navigate to the Donations tab.

  2. Enter your content into the fields provided for the button block.

  3. All fields are optional except the Button URL and Button text.

  4. Once completed, select Save.

Confirm Your Changes

Once you have finished configuring your App Settings, click Save.

  1. Publish your app settings (select Publish) in the Console to make it ready to release.

  2. Release to Public from the Releases page in the Console.
