We’re excited to bring you Empower Tours, a new way to craft and share curated visitor experiences with flexibility for both creators and visitors. Whether you’re guiding people through your museum or inviting them to explore your grounds independently, Tours gives you the control and freedom to tell your story your way.

Feature Tours on the Landing Page
Showcase your best tours directly on the Empower landing page.
Choose which tours to feature, set their display order, and highlight your top experiences in a carousel.
Tour Details with Integrated Map
See everything in one place with the new Tour Details view. Display key information such as video, images, and descriptions, and visualise all tour stops in numbered order on a map. Supports multi-level tours!
Stop List Overview
Provide visitors with a clear overview of all stops in a simple, structured list that helps them plan their visit at a glance.
Audio for Each Stop
Bring your stories to life with audio. Visitors can now listen to guided explanations or narratives at each stop, directly within the tour.

You can build tours in minutes:

Add freeform, object-based, or space-based stops for ultimate flexibility.

Audio Access+ is not yet available in Tours. Stay tuned for updates in the upcoming Releases.

Data from your Tours is not yet available in Console Analytics. In the meantime, your Pladia CSM can assist with manual reporting.
Image Recognition
Visitors can now take a photo of an artwork using our in-app scanner to find out more about it in the Empower PWA.
In-app scanner: Visitors can open this from the Home screen (if configured) or the Search tab. Use it to scan a QR Code or snap a photo of an artwork.
Search results: If required, the PWA will show multiple possible matches for visitors to select the correct one.
Test with your Objects: The IR Scanner references your Object hero images. Each venue’s Objects, images and visitor photos will vary. We recommend testing your Objects with the scanner by enabling the Image Recognition Scanner in your Console App Settings and releasing that change to Preview first.
🔧 Small Enhancements
We’ve also added a few updates to improve flexibility and usability:
New POI categories and icons are now available in the Console, including:
Seating, Ferry, Taxi, Bus, Parking, Wheelchair Accessible Parking, and ExitA redesigned sidebar navigation to improve usability
